Terms and Conditions

 Safe Homes Plus offers FREE callout service. Instead, you will just be charged an hourly rate for services rendered, materials (beyond inclusions stated in this package), and GST. Please note, there are additional charges associated with after hours work and public holidays. A minimum of 4 hours charged for after hours work, at a base rate of 35% surcharge will be applied between 4:30pm and 9pm, Monday to Friday (exc public holidays/shut down periods). A minimum of 4 hours charged for after hours work, at a base rate of 75% surcharge will be applied between 9pm and 8am, Monday to Friday (exc public holidays/shut down periods). A minimum of 4 hours charged for after hours work, at a base rate of 100% surcharge will be applied for weekends (exc public holiday weekends/long weekends/shut down periods). A minimum of 4 hours charged for after hours work, at a base rate of 150% will be applied for public holidays and shut down periods.

Please note: where an after hours callout has been applied, it is the responsibility of the agent to ensure payment has been made.

Safe Homes Plus will not be held responsible for slight colour, style and texture variations beyond our control.

Until works on a property are completely paid for, all materials used in this package for the property belong to Safe Homes Plus.

Safe Homes Plus operates on a 7 day payment term. It is expected that payment in full will be made promptly within this timeframe. Failure to pay within this time may relate to additional charges and late penalties.

For any quoted works, Safe Homes Plus requires a 40% deposit paid one week prior to works commencing. This can be waived upon prior agreement on a job-by-job basis.

When signing up to a package, you are agreeing that all works are due. For instance, if signing up for the Safe Homes Plus package, the gas, electrical and smoke detectors will be due and can be completed and invoiced according to Safe Homes Plus scheduling. Note: if smoke detectors are preferred to be completed the year after signing up, the client is signing up to the basic package and must pay the set up fee. 

Safe Homes Plus will not be held responsible for works outside those stated in this package. Certain materials have warranties associated, these are through the manufacturer. Safe Homes Plus offers a 6 month warranty call back, free of charge. If Safe Homes Plus finds that the fault is not due to Safe Homes Plus error, Safe Homes Plus reserves the right to charge for their time and materials. Safe Homes Plus will attempt contact a maximum of 5 times with a tenant to gain access to a property. Upon this time, Safe Homes Plus will alert the agent of the issue, for the agent to arrange access.

Safe Homes Plus operate according to plumbing and electrical regulations. If a fixture/fitting is deemed unsafe, Safe Homes Plus reserves the right to make the item safe at the time of attendance. If a site is deemed unsafe, Safe Homes Plus reserves the right to remove all staff from site and stop works and will not return until a safe work environment can be achieved. Costs may be incurred for the downtime, cost of hired equipment etc.

Safe Homes Plus is not responsible for faulty materials not installed by Safe Homes Plus, and not provided by Safe Homes Plus.

Safe Homes Plus is a trading name of Pivot City Plumbing PTY LTD.

When arranged with tenants/agency to attend a property, if tenants are not at the property within 10 minutes of the appointed time, Safe Homes Plus reserves the right to invoice the tenant a standard call out charge of $199 for non-attendance. This will be invoiced directly to the tenant.

Biennial refers to every two years. Annual is yearly.

By agreeing to this package, Rental Providers are agreeing to a maximum $300 charge for immediate minor works to be completed while on site.

Price rises will be consistent with market and only taken with express consent of rental providers.
